Caught in the middle of......

Time 7.30 PM . Location Intermediate Ring Road, Koramangala, Bangalore.

Amidst heavy bumper to bumper traffic , a call center taxi was parked with its parking lights blinking and the driver furiously talking on this mobile. A sheepish smile told he had run out of diesel.

How many times, have we forgotten something so important in our urge to do multiple things at the same time, that only when something is missing at that important event, we find out the hard way.

As a sales person, the importance of visiting cards is hard to miss. Today, I had a trainer, who had come to ask for an assignment. We had not heard of him before, he did not have a website. And finally, when he was about to leave, I had to ask him for his visiting card. He then told me, he did not have one ! He was actually leaving the sales pitch with out even leaving behind a contact no.

Can any one expect to get any business with such a "unprepared sales pitch" ? Definitely not.

Have you experienced any such unprepared ness and how have you learnt to avoid it ? Let us know.

Many a times, retailers are so involved in the multitude of things to be done for a store opening, that they tend to forget important things. For Ex.
